What data we process and why
- Contact form: name, email and, if you provide them, company and phone number, together with your enquiry. We only use them to reply to you.
- Distributor form: the same data plus your country and the reason for your enquiry. If you are looking for a distributor, SPAIN AUTOMATION EQUIPMENT S.L. reviews your request to offer you the best service available in your country; if you want to become a distributor, to assess your application. Your data is not passed on to distributors.
- Product news: only if you tick the corresponding box, we will use your email to send you Relequick product news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Security: to protect the forms against automated submissions we temporarily store an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address (not the address itself) for up to 24 hours.
Legal basis
The legal basis is your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form, and, for protection against abuse, our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (article 6.1.f GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle them and then for the legal periods during which liabilities may arise. Data for product news is kept until you unsubscribe.
Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. Providers of technical services (web hosting and email) may access it only to provide that service and with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to sales@spainae.es. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Forms are validated on the server and protected against automated submissions.
